Lou Stein Studio is a space for developing those skills, learning to use them outside the context of performance, and a space for encouraging new conversations in the post-Covid world, where inclusiveness and diversity are an important engine for society moving forward into a relevant and productive era. Date and Time: Every Wednesday 2pm - 5pm About Lou Stein Lou is the founder of the Gate Theatre, London, was Artistic Director of Watford Palace Theatre and most recently was Artistic Director of Chickenshed. He won the Offie Individual Award in 2021 for his work in ground-breaking Inclusive Theatre. Lou is an extremely experienced director who has worked with such actors as Benedict Cumberbatch, Helen Mirren, Patrick Stewart and Helena Bonham-Carter. He established his Studio in 2022 to allow actors to pursue confidence building skills using collaborative, non-judgemental and inclusive methods, working with a mix of professional actors seeking to work with inclusive ensemble methods. During a pilot week at the New Diorama Theatre, Broadgate earlier in 2022, a group of 15 actors, one third of whom had cognitive challenges, worked together to refine many of the methods that form the basis of the Studio.
