Wednesday 24th April - Wednesday 8th May

Created during the pandemic and inspired by the concept of social distancing, this short film was made to explore humans' desperate desire to help nature and yet the inadequate efforts to take action to do so. As social distancing became the new normal in 2020, Tilda Shearing was struck by the similarities to our habit of "nature-distancing",

We know the climate crisis is a problem; we have the solutions; yet the action we take is insufficient. We are not willing to dismantle systems and addictions that are destroying our earth: money, desire for "progress", capitalism and inequality. We are so disconnected from our world in its entirety and our dependecy on it working as a whole, that we are incapabale of making big changes and ultimately saving our planet and ourselves. This however all sounds terrifying, so here's a clown showing you instead
