Lou Stein Studio is a space for developing ensemble and text-based acting skills, learning to use them within the context of performance, and is a space for encouraging new conversations in the post-Covid world, where inclusiveness and diversity is an important engine for society moving forward into a relevant and productive era. The goal is to develop each actor's confidence so that their presence and impact in the business improves.

Lou’s own expertise in ensemble performance will form the cornerstone of the sessions. The sessions run every Wednesday from 2-5pm at Theatre Deli, 107 Leadenhall, and interested actors need to be able to commit to a tranche of five linked sessions.

Lou’s shows at Chickenshed have received many 4* and 5* reviews over the years, including from The Stage and Time Out. They have also had many OffWestEnd nominations over the years – Offies nominations for their live shows and OnComms for their online work. They have won Offies for Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow (Best Production for Children 13+, 2019) and Snow White (Best Production for Children 8+, 2020).
