Through improvisation and deep play we work with props, sound effects, character and story. The games are a stimulus to launch us into freeform deep play where narrative and character emerge organically. We will play a mixture of classic theatre and improvisation games such as Questions Only, One word at a time, Pass the Click, etc and games facilitator Merlin Nova has created such as Trash Talk, Selling the Wares, Board Game, To glow up or not to glow up, Life Model and many more… Players’ Circle is space for mistakes, laughter and exploration in a low-pressure fun environment. "Players' Circle is lots of fun. You collaborate with others to explore role playing and naturally, characters emerge from the kind of 'on the spot' reactionary scenarios/games Merlin provides. Merlin does an amazing job at making these scenarios accessible, so even if you don't have any theatre experience (like me) you will get alot from it, you will leave energised and laughing.
