Awakening the Imagined Body in Space is a series of psychophysical theatre workshops/labs focusing on the relationship between the imagination and the body, and therefore allowing the participants to embark on a journey to re-discover their inner child, get out of their head, play and experiment.

We want to create an accessible space for artists and performers to exercise their physical and imaginative muscles in a safe and supportive environment that encourages play, exploration and experimentation without the need for a prescribed outcome. As artists living in such fast-paced, outcome-focused times, we rarely have the chance to tend to our inner child. We often forget how important it is to allow them to simply play, be free and get creatively nourished. Hence, we want to go back to the basics, to play, experiment, dream and nourish our artistic souls. And, if a creative seed has been planted in the process, we’ll help water it!

Accessible to both beginners and more advanced participants!

“Honestly, this was so great a workshop that I don't have anything to fault. I liked the exercises, loved how kind and open you guys were (Pat and Theodor), and enjoyed the general atmosphere of acceptance and positivity."

“I liked the playfulness you put into your whole work a lot. It was great just to play and create and you created a really trustful setting which was/is great."

“The exercises truly were simple enough for "non-mover" beginners but I can also see experienced dancers/movers benefitting from them.”
