It’s September already! Here's what you might have missed at Leadenhall Street over the last seven weeks.

Since opening Theatre Deli Leadenhall Street, the day after closing our Broadgate Studios, and hosting a week's worth of incredible Edinburgh Fringe Preview performances, our team has been busy adding the finishing touches to our new home and getting ready for the autumn. Here's what you might have missed and a taste of what's coming up!

Artistic Programme 

New Deli Meets events: We have kicked off our autumn season of Deli Meets, with a programme of seven free community events from dance to networking. Explore Deli Meets here.

SHIFT+SPACE Autumn 22 launched: ELOINA launched our autumn SHIFT+SPACE programme with two sell-out performances for her show HIGH STEAKS. See our upcoming performances for this work-in-development programme here. 

Delivision is back: Free space to share film and digital art projects in back. Submit your project here or pop in and see what's on any time during Deli's opening hours. 

Designer and Maker Residencies:  Our Designer and Maker resident artists are all moved into their dedicated studios in Leadenhall Street. Find out more about their work here. 

Studios

Dance floors now complete: Our team has been hard at work over summer laying down dance floors in Studios 1, 6, 8, 9, and 10. 

Improved sound insulation: You told us, we actioned: our four upstairs studios now have added sound insulation to help you rehearse in peace and quiet.

Deli Bar and Cafe

 

Introducing draught beer at our bar: Sit in and enjoy lager and session ale from Fourpure after a class or rehearsal. 

Free coffee: Introducing loyalty cards for customers of our bar and cafe. As if £1.80 wasn't cheap enough for a coffee, you can now get your tenth cup free for every nine cups you buy. Pick your loyalty card up from the bar and cafe from Monday 12th September. 

Cake in the cafe: We're now serving fresh @cakesmiths.hq cakes every day. 

Events: From work socials to charity quiz nights, we have already hosted some brilliant events in our Bar and Cafe. We are always looking for more events to host, and are now taking bookings for festive parties! Email [email protected] for more details.
