HIRER AGREEMENT

The spaces at Theatre Deli are run with the aim of creating a diverse artistic community. Our hire policy exists to ensure that the inhabitants of the spaces work in a safe and comfortable environment. We therefore require all hirers of the space to read and ensure they adhere to the following.

By confirming your booking at Theatre Deli, you agree to adhere to the following hirer policy.

Within this policy the term ‘users’ refers to all hirers and their guests. Hirers are responsible for ensuring that they and all guests in their group are aware of the appropriate terms of this agreement and are responsible for the conduct of all guests in their group during their booking.

ACCESS

Opening Hours:

Monday - Saturday 10am - 10pm

Please note we are closed on Sundays.

Studios users are not permitted to enter Theatre Deli BEFORE 9.45am.

It is important that your session finishes on time as others may be using the room after you.

We close promptly at 10pm - please end your session with enough time to leave the studios at this time. We reserve the right to interrupt you to give notice of studios closing.

When rehearsing late in the evening, users must leave the premises quietly, and respect our neighbours.

Everyone who enters Theatre Deli must sign-in. This is part of our fire safety policy and provides for our community's safety.

We encourage all hirers to read the accessibility guide and contact reception ahead of their booking if they or any guests in their group any questions or concerns about using the building or Theatre Deli's spaces.

USING THE SPACE

Your booking time includes set up and clear down. Please factor this in when booking. Please ensure you leave the space clean and tidy. Hoovers and cleaning materials are available for you to use should your space need cleaning after you have finished your session. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the studios tidy for other users.

No items may be left in the room.

We do not provide secure storage space for your rehearsal props and belongings, but do have lockers available for hire for small items - this involves a £5 cash deposit for a key for the entire locker, which is refundable on return of key. Locker hire fees must be paid for upfront and are non-refundable. Items must be removed and keys returned on the last day, or an additional fee will be charged. We can not guarantee storage of larger items in communal areas or studios.

We reserve the right to add additional charges for any over-run bookings in the space, early access with or without agreement, left items or unclean rooms/areas.

Users must observe Theatre Deli signage and not remain in the spaces occupied and managed by Theatre Deli. Please do not wander through other parts of the building or disturb other occupiers.

No smoking is permitted in the building or any of the fire exits at any time, a smoking area is provided at the front of the building.

Any damage to the space or mess left as a result of your use will be invoiced to hirers, and will include the time and labour required to restore the space.

Noise: Deli Studios are a 'meanwhile-use space' and are not purpose built rehearsal rooms. Due to this, we only certain studios are available for music/musical instruments/singing/recorded sound. If music/instruments/singing/recorded sound are used in any other studios and prove disturbing to others, we reserve the right to ask for equipment to be turned down or off and volume levels to be respected. The rehearsal spaces in the building are often close together; please show courtesy to others in the premises by keeping noise to an acceptable level.
