Whilst we are excited to reopen Theatre Deli Broadgate’s studios and its desk space, the safety of our community and staff is our highest priority so please have a read below to see the new policies and provisions we have put in place to ensure our site and activity are Covid-secure.

Facilities

We are delighted to be reopening our Studios and some of our desk space from April, for full details of our reopening plans please click here. Sadly, for the time being our Bar & Cafe, and our performance space will remain closed until further notice. Please also note that we have removed all kitchen facilities that were located next to our studios. These areas are now only available for handwashing or filling up water bottles.  

Our Studios are available to hire for rehearsals and classes however to support social distancing we have reduced the maximum capacity of people for each studio. The new maximum capacities are between 8-20 people and are detailed on the Studios Page. When booking please ensure the studio you request is suitable for the number of people in your group.

We appreciate that these new restrictions may be prohibitive for some groups. However, they are necessary to create the safest possible environments for all users.

All furniture has been removed from our studios to reduce touch points. We have introduced stool/chair stations where you can collect these from if necessary, please use the sanitiser provided to clean them after use. 

The majority of furniture has also been removed from our communal areas create as much space as possible in order to support social distancing. While we love the socialising, networking and relaxing that is normally possible at Deli Studios, we need to dissuade groups from gathering at the present time, and discourage all ‘drop-in’ activities. For this reason we have suspended member’s use of the hot-desking area. Instead we are offering a limited number of Individual Deskspaces on an application-only basis.

The air conditioning system throughout the Broadgate site has been changed to a non-recycling setting, ensuring fresh air is constantly circulated. 

Free Lateral Flow Covid Tests

Rapid COVID-19 tests are available for those living or working in the Square Mile who cannot work from home and who do not have Coronavirus symptoms or have not been in contact with a person with symptoms in the last ten days. These free tests are being provided by the City Corporation in partnership with the NHS to help detect cases of the virus faster, and can prevent outbreaks in your workplace. It is recommended that you test every three to five working days.

Your Visit

You must wear a face covering when you enter the venue and whilst in our communal areas. If you or anyone in your group has a medical exemption from wearing a face covering, please email and notify us in advance. 

When you arrive please enter via the main building reception entrance (the usual entrance into our bar & cafe will not be open). Once inside the building, follow the one way system to our studios on the first floor. 

Sign in. When you enter Deli please scan the QR code with your phone at Reception on the first floor and complete the short google form with your details. This will not only aid our own Covid-secure policies should we be notified that a user has tested positive, but also serves as a health and safety measure in case of a fire.

Please exit via the central lifts through the double-doors in the hallway, between the toilets.

As mentioned above, our bar & cafe, and all kitchen facilities are closed. You may bring refreshments with you but please note as our kitchen facilities are closed there is nowhere to store them.

Toilets are open and cleaned regularly throughout the day. Access will be limited to three people at a time.

Hand sanitiser stations have been placed throughout the building. Please take advantage of these to support a clean and safe environment for all.

Cancellation Policy

From October 1st 2020 we amended our cancellation policy. Please note this new policy will apply to all bookings made on or after 1st October 2020, all bookings made prior to that date will still adhere to our current policy.

For short-term bookings:

  • Cancellations and amendments up to ONE WEEK before the start of the booking will be eligible for a full refund. 
  • Cancellations and amendments from one week up to 48 HOURS before the start of the booking will not be eligible for a refund of their deposit, but will not be liable for the balance on the booking invoice.
  • Cancellations and amendments less than 48 HOURS before the start of the booking will not be eligible for a refund and will be liable for the full amount on the booking invoice. 

Bookings that are eligible for long-term discounts, i.e. any booking of at least 4 days per week, 8 hours per day, for at least one week:

  • Cancellations and amendments up to ONE MONTH before the start of the booking will be eligible for a full refund. 
  • Cancellations and amendments from one month up to ONE WEEK before the start of the booking will not be eligible for a refund of their deposit, but will not be liable for the balance on the booking invoice.
  • Cancellations and amendments less than 48 HOURS before the start of the booking will not be eligible for a refund and will be liable for the full amount on the booking invoice.
