Deli Broadgate

Theatre Deli exists to develop and grow people’s cultural and creative lives and we’re thrilled to do this right in the heart of the City of London as part of the brilliant Broadgate community.

In partnership with British Land, Theatre Deli Broadgate offers a wide variety of activities and unique spaces. With its incredible location our space is quickly becoming a cultural hub for this fantastic area. Deli Studios, our central London rehearsal studios are proud to house some of the country’s most exciting artists and creatives.

If you’re not rehearsing a project just yet you can get involved in some of the fantastic classes and activities we host. From Aikido to improv, we are sure you will find something to continue your training.

Rogue Productions' immersive heist experience THE PERFECT CRIME is currently resident in our Bar & Theatre Space.

Update: 27 January 2022 - Return to Plan A

The government has announced a return to ‘Plan A’ on Thursday 27 January.

Whilst we are excited by this very promising news, Theatre Deli remains committed to safeguarding the health of our community and staff and supporting makers of theatre and performance by mitigating the risks of producing work in an industry severely affected by closures and cancellations.

We are doing what we can to ensure the safety of all visitors and the viability of all productions, community activities, and classes, and we expect group leaders to be proactive in making decisions and taking actions that protect everyone using the space.

Please familiarise yourself with the measures we currently have in place to ensure our site and activity are Covid-secure, and ensure that you and anyone you are inviting to our spaces observe our policies and recommendations whilst on-site. Please note that we observe all government guidelines for safe working as a minimum requirement, and our policies may include further measures that we deem appropriate for the health, safety, and wellbeing of our wider community.

Face Coverings

You will be asked to wear a face covering when you enter the venue and whilst in our communal areas. If you or anyone in your group has a medical exemption from wearing a face covering, please email and notify us in advance. Whilst face coverings are no longer required by law, public health guidance advises that individuals wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces, where you may come into contact with people you do not normally meet

Vaccination Status

Whilst we do not require a vaccine passport or other proof of vaccination to enter our spaces, we strongly recommend that unvaccinated persons do not attend in-person activities at the present time. We also support group leaders in requesting vaccination status from activity participants and advise that unvaccinated persons self-test regularly to protect themselves and others from infection.

Signing in

ALL VISITORS must sign in by scanning our Theatre Deli QR code and completing the short google form. This is a Theatre Deli fire safety requirement, and will aid our own Covid-secure policies should we be notified that a user has tested positive. This form has no connection to the NHS test-and-trace app (QR also provided) or other COVID tracking apps.

Entering the building

When you arrive please enter via the main building reception entrance.

Social distancing

Theatre Deli Studios are a community resource and we exist to provide space for creative, communal, and social activity. However, we currently ask that during your visit you remain in your studio as much as possible and make minimal use of the common spaces, avoiding close social contact.

Capacity

We have reduced the capacity of our studios to support social distancing. Maximum capacities are between 8-20 people and are detailed on the Studios Page. When booking please ensure the studio you request is suitable for the number of people in your group.
