A very short-term stopover venue between larger projects at Farringdon and Broadgate, 30 Marsh Wall nevertheless continued to open up affordable workspace to theatre makers and creative industries, as well as establishing partnerships in Tower Hamlets with local schools and charities.

The pop-up creative hub was spread over three floors with of a seven-storey building shared with other meanwhile-use charity occupiers, and comprised:

  • 10 rehearsal rooms
  • Self-contained residency space
  • The Attic - shared resources and working space for costume makers and designers
  • Creative Desk Space
  • Design and making workshop space
  • Office and administration space for theatre companies, charities and start-ups
  • The sexiest lift this side of the 70’s
