Pre/post event activity: A collaborative discussion about engaging with responses around the themes of mutual and collective care, and any other thoughts. This discussion will also act as a debrief for the audience and an opportunity to offer responses and constructive feedback for the development of the piece. They create playful, speculative work through a queer, intersectional lens, valuing joyful, imaginative, sometimes fantastical stories, informed by their own experiences as a Chronically ill, Disabled artist. Ariella has previously worked for accessible poetry and spoken word organisations, in site responsive storytelling, for arts festivals in unusual places and in performing arts publishing. They’re currently undertaking the Discover Program with outdoor arts organisation Without Walls. Ariella was recently Longlisted for the BBC Writersroom’s Popcorn Writing Award 2023 for their play ‘Hive’.
