Each month at Theatre Deli we ask musicians, beat-boxers, spoken word artists, music producers and composers to share their work in the open mic, then to jam collectively in a freestyle section at the end of the event (Po’JaM). The event includes the opportunity for Open-Mic Artists to send backing tracks, samples, beats, loops and bring their voices, instruments and creations to the Theatre Deli Cafe/Bar. All we ask is that audiences and artists respect the shared work and lived experience of ALL participants and donate to this Pay What You Can Event. We imagine the power of shared stories, art and theatre to heal, document and celebrate.
