"Another Flag" is a live, multimedia performance in solidarity with visual artist Georgia Lale’s artwork ‘Flag (2021)’, and in response to the censorship imposed on the artwork by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday 18th December 2023.

It is an attempt to collectively re-create the fabric that embodies a cohesive society that is safe for women and artists while fighting against the existing patriarchy. A dynamic and healing synthesis of fabrics, words, textiles, chants, physical movements and sounds that together builds a multifaceted vision and soundscape as a form of protest against gender based violence and the systemic suppression of artistic freedom of expression based on extreme, nationalist rhetoric.

"Another Flag" is an activist piece about empowering women and re-constructing a safer world for them through collective artistic creation.
