This performance will be an extract of the following play:

Band 2 is a play about a young Black girl who’s been recently released from her sectioning after an incident that happened when she was living in a children’s home at 17. Raquel is convinced something, not someone was following her, she would say it would whisper to her at night and hug the shadows during the day. After being released from her 4 year section, she is given council accommodation where strange things start happening to and around her, the house is alive, it salivates at the thought of her and it is feeding off of her dark past and the secret she dares not to share. But between you and me, it might have something to do with that cooler…

A chilling tale of grief, loneliness, social housing and inherited trauma.
