The company was founded in 2001 and is led by Artistic Director Tony Adigun. The company’s dynamic performances explore a myriad of styles, themes and media, whilst embracing different genres and forms of music, dance, literature, circus and digital work. From full-scale theatrical shows, immersive events and educational workshops, to digital engagement and other forms of entertainment, they are constantly looking for new ways to tell their stories. Most recently, SPECIFIQ created Raising Suspicions in the Engine Rooms beneath London's iconic Tower Bridge - a light-hearted interactive mystery offering audiences the opportunity to explore the exhibition space after dark, creeping through the late Victorian hydraulic machinery to solve a dastardly crime against the clock. The company was co-founded by Jon Cooper & Andrew Somerville in 2014. Their debut show HEIST was initially meant to run for three weeks, it ran for nine months & sold out in minutes, astounding audiences & partners alike. HEIST saw audiences breaking into a building, interacting through headsets & cameras and attempting to steal a painting without being caught. “Totally brilliant… I just wish I could do it again”- Time Out They're now working on The Hollow Hotel, an immersive interactive psychological horror that draws inspiration from the historical events surrounding America’s first and most terrifying serial killer – H.H.Holmes – the man whose preferred instrument of murder was a hotel.
