The Nursery presents a night of improvised theatre – completely made up on the spot! Every show features a selection of talented improvisers from across the UK and beyond bringing you some of the most exciting unscripted theatre around. Watch them create everything from short scenes to an entire musical live on stage in front of your eyes!

Tonight’s show features…

The Campaign. In conjunction with The City Of London’s Women: Work And Power, The Campaign is a programme of events and activities that examines the struggle for gender equality through the ages while celebrating a number of significant anniversaries in 2018.

To celebrate the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, giving women over 30 the right to vote, the Parliament (Qualification of Women) Act, which allowed women over 21 to stand for election, and the election of the first female MP, The Nursery Theatre presents a live improvised political campaign inspired by audience suggestions and polls! Grab a seat at the political event of the century as two female candidates go head to head on the issues that matter. YOUR issues. The Campaign is part political drama, part debate and fully made up on the spot.
