Join Mandinga Arts a create your own Dia de los Muertos look! Focusing on the traditional Mexican “Catrina”; one of the most recognisable visual references in the Dia de los Muertos celebration, work to create a headdress, an ornament, or a skull to create your own Dia de los Muertos look.

Join your friends and local community in the colourful and vibrant celebrations of Dia de los Muertos - a traditional Mexican festival celebrating past and current family members and loved ones. Inspired by this special holiday's much-loved traditions, Mexican rituals and folklore will be blended with contemporary elements relevant to UK communities in a creative and inclusive setting. Over the October half-term week, Theatre Deli and Mandinga Arts invite you to join three different Carnival Making and Performance Workshops that will culminate with an exciting carnival procession across Burgess Park.

All events will be led by both English and Spanish Speaking Facilitators.

Any children aged 8-13 who arrive without an adult will unfortunately not be able to participate in this workshop. Adults on the 8-13 ticket can attend free of charge.
