A series of workshops by QuestLife.

So you've been on a Quest…You followed your creative spirit and found your dream, a career in
the arts.

What do you do with the debris of the day, the excess from a sector that doesn’t center and
value the black experience within the arts? How can you continue to nurture yourself and others
towards a resilient and sustainable career? One in which you remain true to yourself, respecting
your gifts and limits.

ReViVe is an intergenerational artist wellbeing and networking space for black creatives
exploring identity and/or wellbeing in their work. It's a safe space where we come together to
share our stories and creative journeys across generations. Learning from each other so we can
reimagine our future.

Over 8 sessions we will: delve into our dreams, find our voices, identify our barriers both internal
and external. We will co-create a toolbox to sustain a nurturing future for ourselves and black
creatives in the arts sector. Expect a participatory, collaborative, and dynamic programme with
an exciting line-up of guest facilitators across a range of disciplines.

In order to ReViVe your mind, body and creative soul, we will be using exploratory tools such as
creative writing, art making, movement, storytelling and more. No experience is needed, just an
open heart to allow yourself to flourish.

A boundless space of potential, belief and trust in which, over 8 sessions we will: delve into our dreams, find our voices, identify our barriers both internal and external. We will co-create a toolbox to sustain a nurturing future for ourselves and black creatives in the arts sector.

Here are some of the topics we’ll be covering:

  • Black Arts & Cultural Practices & the shoulders we stand on
  • Intergenerational wisdom within the arts sector
  • Cultural heritage as a source of inspirational wellbeing
  • Recognising your stress triggers
  • Managing a good work/life balance
  • Financial wellbeing

Along with productions, we run professional development and participatory activities that increase access to the arts, upskill and enhance wellbeing.
