Postponed | A Quest For Rest by Mushmoss Collective This performance and workshop have been postponed. Created and written by Ariella Como Stoian. A collaborative, map-making adventure about how we choose to rest, energy management and taking care of a querulous umbrella plant named Sven. You make your story, playing a shared avatar with an Energy Limiting Chronic Illness, in an everyday-made-fantastical world where your home becomes a magical swamp and you seek rest in creative ways. 'A Quest for Rest' is a joyful, playful, silly, reflective piece of interactive theatre about mutual care, community and how bloody difficult it is to know how to rest. Created with support from Theatre Deli, commissioned for the Social Model & More Festival. Including a 1 hour creative workshop earlier in the day on rest, crip-time, deep-time and a body's relationship with everyday technology through collectively imagined futures. ‘Beautiful, clever, nuanced, so intimate and engaging’ Audience Response – Summerhall Surgeries, Edinburgh ‘Presented a disabled experience as creative, embodied, rich and complex’ Audience Response – Social Model…&More!
