Pay What You Feel

"Outgrown your shoes? Let’s grow out of them"

Often people say my garden or yard is too small to grow anything in, I haven’t got green fingers, I’m not a gardener, I don’t  have the knowledge or the skill to grow my own food. In a time when we need to recycle instead of throwing things away, we need to upskill ourselves and look at the love-food hate-waste issue, there is evidence that proves taking control of what we eat, how we eat and using what is available around us to grow our own food improves both our physical and mental wellbeing.

Our workshop will provide an opportunity to try recycling things we usually throw away like old shoes  to grow our own food in. We will look at how to compost, plant, grow and find out what we can do with food once we’ve grown it.. All you need to do is to plant the seed - we provide all the materials including recipe cards.

The cafe/bar and the People’s Palace of Possibility installation will be open half an hour before each event. A Future Fantastic Festival is presented by The Bare Project in collaboration with Ruskin in Sheffield, Centre for Understanding Sustainable Prosperity, Theatre Deli and The Guild of St George.
