Liverpool, 1989. Greg is fourteen. He hates school. Girls are weird. Liverpool FC are everything.

Bottleneck is a coming-of-age story through the eyes of a young boy growing up on ‘The Boot’ in Liverpool. Greg kills time causing mischief with his best friend Tom, arguing with Dad and running away from the bizzies, all while trying to get his hands on a ticket for the upcoming Liverpool FA Cup semi-final at Hillsborough.

The story takes you on a journey of friendship, adventure, mischief and tragedy.

Life will change for Greg, and for his city, forever.
