After sold-out 28 editions, Arts Canteen’s Arabs Are Not Funny is back with a stellar line-up of comedians, representing the Arab world and surrounding regions. This show is widely regarded as one of the hottest comedy nights among the Arab community and beyond. Comedians with roots in the Arab world attempt to prove the naysayers wrong!

Zahra Barri (MC)
With stand up appearances on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4, Zahra Barri is a stand up comedian, presenter, actor and writer with a unique Eastern and Kanye Western perspective on all of life’s big questions.

Talal Karkouti
British-Syrian Talal performs songs about Arabic food, the struggles of a Middle Eastern actor and Brexit. But he just might write a song about you!
Mixing improvisation, stand-up and musical comedy, you never know quite sure what you’re going to get when Talal is on stage. However, what you won’t get is bored.

Mustafa Fecto
Mustafa been performing regularly in the London circuit for the last 2 years. He knows he doesn't know much and he loves talking about it. He came in 3rd place at Laughing Horse New Act of The Year for 2018 where he was reviewed as having "a welcome fluidity" and an "engaging presence" as well as "the other judges were more enamoured than I".

Mo Magaleo
A young comedian from Morocco who grew up in the UK. Offering observations on the cultural differences between the two, wider society as a whole and isn’t afraid to laugh at himself.

Lebanese-Irish comedian Mouch grew up in Saudi Arabia and now lives and performs comedy in London with his dog.
He is a regular host at Vauxhall Comedy Club and was a semi-finalist at this year’s Max Turner Competition. He also co-produces the Quotas full comedy podcast.
