Join Mandinga Arts for a performing workshop that utilises tried and tested methods which include simple physical and verbal games, character play, improvisation, choreographed dance and physical theatre. Releasing inhibitions and acquiring performance techniques the participants will work individually, followed by small group activities and finally as an ensemble.

PLEASE NOTE - by booking a workshop ticket, you confirm your availability to participate in the carnival procession in Burgess Park on Saturday 27 October, from 4pm till 5pm.

All events will be led by both English and Spanish speaking facilitators.

The workshops are open to children aged 8-18 years old. Each participant aged 8-13 must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop and Saturday parade. Unaccompanied 8-13 year olds will not be able to participate in the events.

Dia de los Muertos is a traditional festival celebrating past and current family members and loved ones. The festival events will blend Mexican rituals and folklore with contemporary elements relevant to UK communities in a creative and inclusive setting. 

Theatre Deli and Mandinga Arts present a series of creative workshops for children, culminating in an outdoor community-led carnival procession and live Latin American music over the October half term week.
